Conformance Status

WHAT IS A LIMITED EDITION?

A limited series of a particular print or object. Limited editions are fixed in quantity, meaning we will only produce a certain number.

HOW WILL MY PRINT BE FRAMED?

Framing options vary for each piece if you purchase it. All pieces are framed with 99% UV Optium Museum Acrylic Plexi with a high quality wooden frame. Artists select the option of framing to edge of frame or with a white border, print is sold as is.

IS THE ARTIST INVOLVED IN PRODUCTION?

José Parlá and Rey Parlá are involved in every possible step of the edition creation process to accurately represent the of body of work.

HOW DO I KNOW MY EDITION IS AUTHENTIC?

Each edition comes with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity (COA) signed by the artist. Additionally every edition will be signed, marked, or numbered on the edition itself.

IF I BUY AN EDITION, DO I OWN THE COPYRIGHT?

The copyright is not transferred to the purchaser of the edition.

CAN I TRACK MY ORDER?

All customers receive a shipping confirmation e-mail when their order ships, which includes the UPS tracking number. WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY ORDER?

Please allow up to 7 business days for order processing and verification, and an additional 10 business days for delivery. We do not ship out on Saturdays or Sundays. USPS does not deliver to APO/FPO addresses or PO Boxes. We may ship domestically and internationally with Fed Ex, UPS, USPS, and DHL at any one time these are subject to change.

Note that some releases if stated, will be limited to the domestic US.

All packaging is just a protection against damage. We cannot replace or repair any damaged packaging.

This includes pricing and availability information. We reserve the right to correct any errors or omissions, and to change or update the information at any time without prior notice.

RETURN POLICY

All sales are final. We do not issue refunds, accept cancellations, or allow exchanges to be made. On a case by case basis under extenuating circumstances, at our discretion, if we determine a refund is warranted, a 5% fee will be deducted from the refund. All shipping fees and international duty/tax are non-refundable. If in any instance a refund is granted, credit cards will be refunded in USD at the exchange rate effective at the time of the refund. The cardholder assumes all responsibility for any fluctuations in exchange rate and/or fees levied by their bank. In order for us to provide the best customer service, any concerns regarding orders must be received in writing within 30 days of placing the order or 15 days within delivery of the order.

PURCHASE FOR PERSONAL USE ONLY

Buyers may purchase products only for personal use and not for resale. By placing your order, you certify that you are purchasing products for personal use only and not for resale. We reserve the first right to refuse orders for any reason without explanation.

SHIPPING

We do not ship to P.O. Boxes or Freight Forwarders. Please allow up to 7 to 14 business days for order verification and processing, and an additional 10 business days for delivery.*

All domestic orders are shipped by ground. International orders (to select countries) are shipped DHL, UPS, Fed Ex, USPS, and/or other shipping options available to us. Shipping fees are calculated as flat-rate per country and may include additional fees calculated on a per item basis and determined by order weight. Fees may include an additional handling charge.

We are not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged shipments. Customers are responsible for paying additional shipping and handling fees to have the order re-shipped, if available. The buyer assumes all responsibilities of claims made with the shipping carrier. Please contact us with any questions regarding claims.

INTERNATIONAL DUTY AND TAX

International customers may incur additional charges at the time of checkout. International Duty and Taxes are calculated according to country and included in the order total at the time of checkout. The buyer is responsible to pay for all import Duty and Taxes prior to shipping. We will transfer the fees we collect to Fed Ex, UPS, USPS, or DHL to process your international shipment.

SALES TAX

Sales Tax is charged to orders shipped within the states of New York and New Jersey. The applicable tax rate for orders within the state of New York is 8.875%. The applicable tax rate for orders shipped within the state of New Jersey is 6.625%. The applicable tax rate for orders shipped within the state of California is 7.25%. Shipping costs is also taxed. We use secure processing called SSL Encryption Technology, which is the industry standard. SHIPPING & PACKING

Once your order has been placed successfully, it will be securely packaged and shipped to you using one of our selected global carriers, which we will update you on by email. If you have questions or need any help, please get in touch via email store@parlastudios.com. There are also answers to a number of frequently asked questions below.

WHEN WILL MY ORDER SHIP?

We like to make sure each edition is absolutely perfect by taking a few extra steps. This means orders can take 2-6 weeks to get to you while they are framed (if you have ordered a framed work), checked and await the seal of approval from the artist themselves. We do our best to ship as quickly as possible, so we really appreciate your patience during this process as our main priority is sending something to you that is perfect and that you will want to keep in your collection for many years to come.

HOW WILL MY ORDER BE PACKAGED?

Every finished work we send to our collectors is packed in a flat, secure and unbendable box for your piece. Once securely packaged inside the box, we attach your shipping labels and any necessary customs documents. Please remember to take extra care when opening the packaging and unwrapping your artwork. We include handling gloves for you to use for this.

HOW MUCH DOES SHIPPING COST?

Shipping costs depend on the size, weight and destination of your artwork. Shipping costs are calculated prior to checkout and included in the total cost of your order, with no additional charges beyond the cost of delivery to us. All orders are shipped using our selected premium carriers. Sales tax is charged to orders shipped within the states of California, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, and Washington. DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?

Yes, we ship internationally using selected global carriers.Please be aware that international orders may be subject to relevant customs duties of the destination country. We declare all shipments as limited-edition artworks, subject to the nature of the piece ordered. We cannot mark your shipment as a gift.

Every shipment to any of our collectors is fully insured from the moment it leaves our warehouse to when it arrives at your door.

WILL I BE CHARGED DUTIES AND TAXES BY THE CUSTOMS OF MY COUNTRY?

You may be charged duties by your country’s customs. The exact amount can vary depending on the artwork itself and customs laws of your country. We pay extra close attention to orders going through customs. Each order will have the correct documentation so that minimal appropriate duties are applied.

HOW LONG WILL SHIPPING TAKE?

We ship all orders on our standard service using premium global carriers. If you require express shipping, please contact us directly and we can facilitate this.
